DESTINATION WEDDING IN SPAIN

As a destination wedding videographer, there are certain weddings that stay with you forever. Sean & Cara’s beautiful wedding in Ronda, Spain was one of those days.

Travelling from the UK alongside their family and friends, Sean & Cara chose one of the most breathtaking locations in Europe to celebrate their marriage. An adorable Spanish town close to their hearts. The ceremony took place at Iglesia Maria Auxiliadora before we explored the historic streets of Ronda and captured stunning portraits overlooking the iconic Puente Nuevo bridge and dramatic El Tajo Gorge. Every turn revealed another sensational backdrop making this a dream location for any wedding videographer in Spain.

The celebrations continued at Hotel Cortijo Salinas, where guests enjoyed the sun, heartfelt speeches, incredible food and a lively atmosphere that lasted long into the night. With loved ones travelling across from Ireland, Australia and all over the world, the day felt far more than a wedding – it was a reunion, an adventure and a once in a lifetime experience rolled into one.

Despite temperatures soaring above 35ºC, nobody let the heat slow them down. Emotional cocktail hour speeches from the Bride & Groom, laughter filled dinner toasts, a gorgeous Spanish sunset and live music from The Hootin’ Annies created the perfect setting for an unforgettable evening of celebration. The dance floor was packed form the start and the cocktail bar kept the party going!

Sean & Cara were an absolute pleasure to work with and trusted me to travel overseas to capture one of the most important days of their lives. As my first destination wedding in Spain, this wedding will always hold a special place in my heart and has only fuelled my passion for filming weddings abroad.
